I have an issue with the wiper switch body trying to rotate no matter how tight the bezel on the dash is. I was going to remove the switch to get a better idea of the problem, but am unable to get the knob off the shaft. Can anybody give me any ideas? Thanks!

There should be a pin in the underside of the knob that you push in to release the knob.  But the knobs also tend to shrink and grip the shaft very tightly, so it may take a good deal of force to remove the knob even once the pin is depressed.

What I have done is to put two small pads of wood on either side (to protect the dash) and then use a pair of prybars to force the knob straight out.  Using only one prybar is apt to bend or break the switch shaft.  It may break anyway with two of them, but I haven't lost one yet (and it sounds as though your switch is toast anyway).

If memory serves, there is also a nut behind the dash that needs to be in the right position.  If it has spun back against the body of the switch, the bezel may be bottoming out against the threaded portion, rather than gripping the dash.  You _might_ be able to solve the problem by pulling the knob out (turning the switch on), unscrewing the bezel, tightening the nut behind the dash, and then tightening the bezel again (all without having to remove the knob).  But I could be mistaken.
