I'm stumped, I can remove the rear hubs without a problem.  I use a propane torch to quickly heat the hub and it will come off the axle easily.  But now I'm looking at the outer wheel bearings.  And I'm stumped as to how they are removed from the axle.

Did you ever get this resolved?  I am at the exact same point...I removed the hub (or "Flange and Stud assembly", as it is called in the Victoria British catalog) using a Churchill tool. 

That was not too bad - but now I cannot figure out how to get the "axle hub" (which you have illustrated) off of the axle itself.  Can anyone guide regarding how to do that?  Could I use a process similar to what this person did:
