I put a new dash in my tr4, this required that I remove all the guages which needed to be done anyhow.  I have two manuals which show wiring diagrams so I didn't think much of it. Now here I sit, the guages are all hooked up, wires in place, but there are all kind of ground wires, of course I didn't label them so I am not exactly sure how to route them.
To make matters worse none of the wiring diagrams that I have even show these ground wires.  Can anyone tell me where I can find a more complete diagram?  I am at a standstill until I find this out.

Maybe I don't understand the problem ... just ground everything that needs to be grounded and go on.   The gauges only need grounds for the lamps anyway.  The diagram at http://www.advanceautowire.com/tr24a.pdf shows the required ground connections.

I believe you are asking what you should ground them to.  The answer to that question is, any bolt or metal part of the dash.  Most of the ground wires that are a part of the gauge wires are attached to the bolt that is used to hold down the gauge itself to the dash.  Once you have the gauge in place you should have a 1" + metal piece that fits over the bolt that is  welded to the back of the dash and then use a small washer, the full circle ground wire connector and then the hand twist on nut.  There are a few ground wires under the dash that do go on regular bolts.  Just find a bolt that is within reach of the ground wire and use it.  Make sure that you do get a clean metal contact at least on the back side of the bolt head and the ground wire connector if you put it over the top of a painted surface.

What Randall is saying there is no big problem of where you put the ground wires, just ground them to metal on the car. The real problem  I found under the dash is that the ground wires on the harness are rather short.  They are made to fit as I described above and are not long enough to just put anywhere.
Good luck,
