If anyone is interested, I can provide  photos an instructions to mount a Sunpro temp gauge (I paid $13) TR2/3 Jaeger temp gauge housing. This is not an electrical conversion and since the original Jaeger dial, housing, needle and face are used it is almost impossible to tell it from the original. It is quite easy and works perfectly.

The purist in me says no way but the tight wad says this may be a good cheap fix. Those capillary tubes are a pain in the wallet. I’d like to know more anyway. I’ll send you my email. Tom
