 I'm wondering what the c/w is regarding installing new tappets without replacing the cam. I know that using old tappets with a new cam is bad practice but not sure if that holds true for the tappets. My cam shaft looks good but several tappets show noticeable wear and I'm wondering if that might also account for what sounds like excessive valve clearance type noise. "TIC TIC TIC"  Thanks; KSD
