Hi, folks. First time poster.

Redoing a 1959 3a, and I have a factory steel hardtop that's being redone as well.

I've unsuccessfully searched (google and binging) for instructions on how to install the hardtop.

If someone could kindly help, it would be greatly appreciated!

Welcome to the forum, Rob!

The factory TR2 (with TR3 supplement) workshop manual (or the Bentley/Brooklands reprint) has very detailed installation instructions, in the TR3 appendix (page 437 of the Bentley).

This book is a goldmine of information, I strongly suggest that any TR2-3 owner should have a copy.  Tatty originals show up on eBay from time to time, or any LBC vendor should have copies of the reprint.  There is also a CD-ROM version available, but last I heard it would not display on computers with Vista or Linux, etc.

Rob;

Do you have the hardware for both the windscreen and the back vinyl trim? I tried to send a reply but I timed out. If you have the hardware let me know and I will try to guide you through the process.

Let me know.

Yes, a kind VTR member has supplied them to me. I've been out of the country, so I've been able to reply until now.

Thank you too.
