I recently purchased a 67 TR4A with a rigid read end.  I am in the process of a total restoration.  Right now I am doing the front suspension and have a question.  The trunnion diagram in the manual shows a steering stop.  Mine has a hole on the trunnion that does not seem to be threaded for the bolt (or has the bolt broken off?).  Both sides of the car are this way.  Do I not have a stop on my car (do all TRs have them)?  If I am supposed to have one, is it bad that I do not?  I do not want to buy new trunnions if i don't have to.
Thanks,
CarlG

I don't believe that the TR4A had the stops installed. Mine does not have them.
