I'm looking at a TR250 that's for sale and the front hood emblem is not the rectangular "TR 250" badge I see most often on 250s - its a round badge located midline, more like on a TR4/4A. Even though the hood has the appropriate stripe painted on it, I'm guessing this is not the original hood. To confirm that, I'm wondering if the TR250 produced exclusively with the rectangular hood badge (making this NOT the original hood) or were there some produced with a round, midline badge?

David,  Sounds like this car has a TR4A hood on it.  The 4A had the round world badge in the center front of the hood.  The TR250 was only made with the cream and silver square badge offset to the left center of the hood.  The hoods are pretty much the same and can be inter changed.
