I've a pair of 1975 Triumph Spitfire 1500's in WAY south Texas. Im hoping to go tow the good one up to Sturgeon Bay (my brothers place) to restore it. I'd like to bring the parts car as well but dont have a trailer (I just bought a bumper hitch).

Its such a LONG drive, anyone out there have a 21' trailer for rent or should I just get the restore project and not worry about the parts car for now?

The parts car has an engine and tranny I really dont wish to leave behind. (issues where they both are stored and need to get them out before the land owner goes ballistic).

Two choices: rent a U-haul trainer and bring up up or rent a Uhaul truck and trailer and get it all.

I see your original message was back in May, have you resolved this issue about transportation?

I am assuming that you are talking about Sturgeon Bay, Wisconsin?

If you are, I live in Fremont, Wisconsin, which is within about 50 - 60 miles from there, and I have a car trailer that can meet your needs.

I have a 1960 Triumph TR3A that is in the final stages of a frame off restoration that started back in October of 2004 after being put up in storage after marriage in 1972. I originally purcashed it in 1968 when I was 18.

Let me know,

Bob

1960 Triumph TR3A - Owned since 1968. Saw it when I was 18 and had to have it! Bought it for $400 from a college student who got tired of putting water into radiator before leaving for school and then again before heading for home. It had a bad water pump seal.
