Hello !
I want to install seat belts on my '68 GT6, wich didn't have any originally.
I bought the retractable ones from Victoria British and was wondering if anyone here has installed them (...the instruction sheet is not very elaborate). Obviously, the fixed part along the driveshaft as to be secured to the floor and I did get the reinforcement plates needed to do the job, but I'm wondering where is the best place to fit them. As for the belt portion, I don't think anything can be safely attached to the door pillar, but if I secure the reel and the top belt portion to the rear wheel well (again with reinforcement plates), I'm afraid the straps will attach in a weird way.
Any suggestions or pictures of your own installation would be welcomed !
