hi all,
I ordered a cap and rotor from victoria british but it is incorrect for my car.  The cap is smaller in diameter and different than the one on my car.  My cap is red and i cant really find and numbers to say what it is.  If anybody has any info that would be great.  Thanks...

Dan,
I'm pretty sure you should have a Lucas distributor in that Spit, there were a few various versions but I beleive they pretty much all used the same cap. But who knows if there has been a switch in it's lifetime. Delco-Remy's were installed in the older Spits. If you can't find any numbers, try posting a photo or check the manuals for something to go on...

Red cap? Perhaps you have a replacement Mallory distributor?
