Hi all. New to this site. Came here because you people know Triumphs and what they're worth. I was the proud owner of a brand new 1968 TR250. I was 21 yrs old at the time and this little baby was the cat's ass. Unfortunately it got destroyed in 1996 by a loacl flood. It had only 51k miles and was always kept in a heated garage. Really hurt to see her loaded up on that flatbed knowing it would be the last time I'd ever see her. Well enough of that. Now I'm retiring and have a garage full of stuff that I've benn pack ratting over the years. Some of it's Triumph related. Thought I'd offer these things to you before I give epay an attempt. I have rare fiberglas bonnet and trunk deck. Primarily used for racing purposes but could be used for restoration. I'd like to get at $500 for the pair plus whatever it takes to ship. I can deliver within a 100 mi radius of Chicago. Otherwise I have no clue as to go about it. I also have a Stromberg 175 CD, Brand new seat belts (I never hooked them up),ORIGINAL factory shop manuals from TR2 thru TR6. I ordered these from British Leyland. I have owners manual and sales brochure for the TR250, Stromberg tuning manuals, new side marker light sockets. I'm open to a REASONABLE offer. If your a dealer please don't insult me with some lowball offer, it's not gonna happen. Here's your chance at this stuff before Craiglist or ebay. Call if you'd like (630) 251-6478. Bruce aka "Slapz". Thanks for your time.......(I can post pictures if your interested)
