Does any one know where the jack is suppose to go in a TR 4A. I have it sitting on top of the spare tire in the trunk but there is no way to lash it down.

There is a strap in the spare wheel well, rear left side.  If you would like a photo i am sure what i have is original.

I'm assuming it's like the TR4 which has a leather strap on the left rear area of the spare tire wheel well. I believe the item and hardware can be sourced from Moss Motors.

I always thought that strap was for the tool roll?  Huh I too have my jack on top of the spare tire of my TR4.  I wrap it up in a towel.

Yeah, my jack definitely does not fit that leather strap.  And as far as I know, the only tools that came with my car were the octagonal wrench and the Thor hammer.
