1970 Triumph GT6+

What are your thoughts on converting to electronic ignition on a GT6? Other than not being an original part, are there downfalls to these? Is the installation fairly straightforward, any reccomendations on where to purchase? Having recently bought a GT6+, the first thing I want to do is tune it up, I'd appreciate any info.

Welcome Roland!
There are several ways to go. I chose to go with the Pertronix conversion, straight forward, easy to install, I personally have never had any troubles with my setup. You may want to drop a line to Jeff at Advanced Distributors he can actually get your 30+ year old dizzy running like a top! jeff@advanceddistributors.com No financial interest, just a satisfied customer.

Thanks for the input. The Pertrinics seems to be the most reasonable one that I have seen. I'll contact Jeff on that.
