Fuel Pump

Over the last 10 years I have gone though 3 aftermarket replacement fuel pumps.  They have all suffered from torn diaphragms which then causes me to end up with a crank case full of gas/oil.   My question is has anyone had better luck with these aftermarket pumps?  Or is time to go to an electric pump and a pressure regulator.

I bought a pump made in Italy by BCD Torino. #1697/14C
I put it on last summer and have more than 5,000 miles on it now. Seems fine.

Note: this is a original style replacement pump.
