The TR7/8 Fresh Air Plenum Seals (part #s ZKC742 and ZKC743) fill the gaps in either side of the fresh air plenum, that black shroud clipped onto the firewall and scuttle panel. They prevent engine compartment heat and vapors from being sucked into the ventilation system and drawn into the cockpit. If you’ve ever driven through a puddle with the defroster on and had the windshield instantly fog up, it’s probably because these are missing or displaced. These are commonly discarded by mechanics who either don’t understand their function, or simply couldn’t be bothered to put them back in place.

These are made from patterns taken from a 'new old stock' seal in a black sponge rubber virtually identical to the original material. They are identical to the originals in fit and function.

Check the VTR Classifieds for ordering information.
