Help
As I drive and the engine warms up it will gradually increase to 3000 rpms and will not drop down.
Any ideas as to the cause and/or remedies. Thx in advance, rff33

I keep checking back on this one, can't wait to hear what can cause that. Even though I'm sure your 1980 is configured much different than my 1965, I have a simular situation were the RPM changes depending on the engine temp. Maybe if you can say what is on your engine as far as carberation and ignition someone may have an answer? Someone has got to have something to say about this one!

Found the problem. Manual choke acting up. Was loose and not resetting properly. All is well.

Dang! I mean, Great! Guess I'll keep trouble shooting my setup, since a choke is not what my rev problem is.
