Hello everyone...new to the forum, what a great find!!

So, I have a 1963 TR3-B, runs great, except for the clutch. It feels really spongy. My son and I adjusted the level from the clutch pedal to the clutch pump (hoping for a quick fix. That did'nt help. I guess my question is, could it be the clutch, or just the clutch pump?? any experience?

The clutch seems to hold pretty well if I pump the clutch pedal...which makes me think it is the Pump?? or could there be air in the line???

any and all advice is appreciated!!!

If you pump up the clutch, hold it down, and put the car in gear, does the system "bleed down", i.e., does the clutch seem slowly to engage?

I've noticed that the hoses sometime swell under pressure.
A new hose is a cheap possible solution, especially if yours is 40 years old.
Good luck, Emmett
