I am trying to find the best solution to installing
a new and different heater in my 1960 TR3A.  The standard
heater leaves something to be desired...at best.
Several years ago I got turned to using a Spitfire heater...
so have purchased one...and am having the in & out spouts
changed.  Have any of you done this?  Does anyone have a
better idea?  Appreciate any input.

Gil,
I've seen that conversion & it is great.  The late Bob Schaller wrote a
book ("More BS About TR's") & in it he gave instructions on how to make the conversion. Looks like you've figured it out on you own.  You won't be disappointed!!
