This in my email today.  I'm hoping someone can provide some insight for Ms. Desjardins.

In addition to any replies posted here, PLEASE COPY YOUR REPLY TO HER DIRECTLY AT johngus@shaw.ca since she likely is not a member of The Triumph Forum.  Thanks.

Would it be possible to find out what was the year of the first TRIUMPH  and when the first Triumph was available in
Montreal, Canada

thanks

Blake,
The first Triumph?  You think he is asking about TS1 LO?  That of course was the first TR2, built in 1953 and sent to Canada for the Canadien Motor Show in Toronto.  It Remained in Canada in private hands until it was aquired, brought to Ohio, and restored by Joe Richards.

Right, Darrell. On the other hand, I've seen Canadian sales literature for Mayflowers and Renowns and such. And the Standard Vanguard had pretty good sales in Canada as well. I know nothing about official or unofficial "prewar" sales, though.
