I have a friend who has a 69 MGB he will be parting out soon and has said I can have the wire wheels off it. Anyone know if the B hubs are a bolt-on to the Spit hubs?

Bill,

MGB wire wheel hubs won't mount to a Spitfire's hubs.  The bolt patern is different.
