I AM PUTTING THE INTERIOR PACK TOGETHER ON MY 1980 TR7 CONV AND I AM HAVING A PROBLEM WITH THE INSTALL OF THE PANEL THAT COVERS THE SHEET METAL BEHIND THE SEATS. THE PANEL FITS VERTICALLY FROM THE PACKAGE SHELF TO THE FLOOR AND ATTACHES TO SPEED CLIPS BEHIND THE SEATS NEAR THE FLOORBOARD...........BUT HOW DOES THE UPPER PART OF THE PANEL ATTACH TO THE CAR'S PACKAGE SHELF AREA? ANYONE HAVE A TR7 CONV THAT CAN PROVIDE INFO OR A PICTURE?
ALSO, ANYONE KNOW WHERE I CAN GET A CONSOLE AND CONSOLE LID HINGE? ...I DO HAVE THE LID.

I'm a little confused about your problem. On all TR7/8 convertible models I've seen, there are no speed clips. The rear trim board attaches with 5 screws across the top, 3 of which also serve as button snap bases for the boot cover. At the bottom sides are two more screws, and at the bottom center there are the screws that hold the console box to the rear bulkhead. The trim board curls over the top of the parcel shelf carpet.

Now the cars I have hands-on experience with were all Canley built 1980 models. If your car was built somewhere else, there may be differences. Also, could it be possible that your trim board is from a coupe?

As for console parts, I would think eBay, TSI or the Wedge Shop would be your best options for used items. I don't know if any of the usual parts houses would carry new console items. If you can't find it here, try S&S Preparations in the UK. They have an extensive boneyard.
