Hi Scott,
Like you, I just recently joined the Forum.  I have a
80 TR7 Spider with 95K miles without major problems on
over the road trips.  I replaced my Strom 175 automatic
choke carbs with the same but with manual choke setup.
I have some minor idling and mixture problems that still
need addressing.  I live in Virginia Beach, VA.
