Hi,
My first post here so bear with me.  I have a 1976 TR6 and have taken the dash off to refinish.  I can't get the Panel Lamp Switch (dimmer) off.  Does the black knob pull straight off? I don't see a pin on it like some of the other switches had for removal.   I already broke the windshield wiper twist switch which is the only plastic post on all the instrument gauges.  If anyone has a lead on one, I would appreciate it.

Thanks,

Just in case someone else has the same challenge, on my car the metal post had a pin in it.  There was NOT a hole in the knob to release the pin to slide off the knob and I had to remove with a pair of dikes small pieces at a time.  Luckily I already had a new knob.   Grin
