I can't find (in regular parts stores) any 6014 lamps, only 6024s. Given the guage of the wire, I am concerned about the load from halogen. Does anyone have any experience with this?
Thanks, Bob Hustead

My opinion, go for the H4 conversions.  They cost a bit more up front, but do a much better job of lighting the road.  And as long as you stick with the standard 55/60 watt bulbs, the stock wiring shouldn't have any problem.

Here's an informal comparison of H4 vs tungsten seal beams.
