As I am tearing the TR6 down and making notes of future needs, I now know I am going to need the rocker panels from the front wheel well to the rear wheel well. Would like opinions on the suppliers that provide sheet metal that fits best, has crisp bends and takes the least amount of fitting to get things put back together.

Have had good luck with those from TRF. Doing a frame off right now on my 1970 TR-6, and put in new rockers. Body shop said the new ones were great, needing minimal work.

I have a question about your frame off. What kind of bracing are you installing to stabilize the body while it is off of the frame? I am about to pull mine off the frame and note that without doors the whole tub is pretty flimsy in the middle.
Thanks

Sorry to be slow responding; hadn't checked in some time.

The shop welded in temporary horizontal supports in the door openings (yes, I know that's probably not the right term  Wink to make it rigid. As the parts have gone back in, and before priming and painting occur, the supports will be removed and the places where they were welded cleaned up.
