Wish i'd taken pictures while i was taking this thing apart, but whoda thought it would be 4 years? My bumper brackets are the channel ones, a single piece coming from  the frame to the rear of the bumper spring attachment hole in the apron. I have a single 1.25" spacer on the left front bracket bolt thru the frame (which I put back in place after removal of the bracket). How many spacers should there be and where should they go?
Thanks, Bob Hustead

That sounds right, Bob, assuming your car is LHD.  There is a short strap that goes on top of the spacer and the other end of the strap goes on one of the steering box mounting bolts.
The other 3 bolts don't have spacers (and obviously are shorter).

I looked at this again today, and find that, if i bolt the brackets direct to the frame the space between the bumper spring mounting holes is about 29.5", while they need to be at 32" to conform to the holes in the apron.
