I bought a set about three weeks ago and like them so far. My car had a set of mid 80's ....very old Michelin Redlines, and they were very scary to drive. I have only driven about 30 miles on them due to all of the rain we have been having here in Pa.

Universal contracted Specialty Tires of America, Inc. of Indiana PA to make the tire from an old Dunlop SP radial. I understand that the tire si made with a modern rubber compound and it has a higher speed rating than the Coker Redline tire. While they are better than the older Michelins, you still are not going to win any autocrosses on these tires.

Specialty Tires of America is the old McCreary racing tire company from amny years back.

If you are near me here in Lancaster, Pa stop by and we can go for a ride.
