Just joined VTR, now that I am the proud owner of a '72 TR6. It's a 4-speed, no overdrive, with a very nice 20-footer paint job in metallic deep blue. The running gear is good, engine and body solid, and it has all the requisite quirks to make me comfortable that I have bought a real British car.

Found the car on the interweb. It was in Bristol, TN, in the shadow of the NASCAR track. Went and looked at it in January in an unheated garage filled with a weird assortment of stock cars, old British cars, Corvettes, and who knows what else. From there via truck to Brit Bits in Rye, NH, to have several buckets of cash poured into it, and then on to me. Great fun, and I'm looking forward to many hours behind the wheel (and under the hood).

Congrats on your new TR-6! I am in the process of buying a red 73 from a good riding buddy of mine. He's owned it for 14 years. Hope we both have a great experience, Larry
