I have a single ignition key for my '72 TR6 (CC78264) that doesn't seem to be a standard BL key. It looks suspiciously like the key from the '67 Volvo 122 my sister and I shared back in the day. Sam Smith at Brit Bits up in Rye, NH told me that some TR6's came through with Volvo ignition keys, but he didn't know who has them.

Does anyone know more about this, and where I could find another key blank? The key has "WASO" stamped in the head. I have a picture I can send via PM if anyone thinks it will help.

Hope someone else has solved this little problem before me...

You might try Pete Groh who does keys for our Tr's.

He is listed here in VTR and the last email address I had for him was
pete_groh@yahoo.com

You beat me to it, Charley!  Pete also has a web site at
http://britishcarkeys.com/

George Richardson is another Triumph key expert:
gprtech@frontiernet.net

But it sounds to me as though any decent locksmith should be able to duplicate the key you have.
