I have a 1964 tr4 A solid axle. When idling the gas gauge seems to work properly, but as I drive the needle always goes to F(full) and beyond. Any ideas as to why this happens? Thanks.

Consider checking the voltage stabilizer as it's function affects the fuel guage.
