I would really like to see some good pre 60000 engine bay shots as I attempt to put mine back together.  TS19909.  Thanks

Hi,

I would highly recommend Bill Piggott's book called the "Collector's Originality Guide". MOSS Motors has it and it sells for $50. The photos and comments are well worth the price. When I redid our car I spent untold hours on the internet searching for pictures and guidance that Bill has put together in his book.

Combine this with on line photos that are available and you should be all set.

I do have some photos I took at a EuroCar Show in Cazenovia, NY of an incredible TR3-A that is just magnificent with some very helpful under the bonnet photos. Contact me at
rgh1506@windstream.net and I'll send them to you.

Well worth the investment and the book is absolutely riveting. Very well done!

Cheers,

Ray

I wouldn't call them "good", but there are a few areas shown in my album at
http://s258.photobucket.com/albums/hh260/TR3driver/TS13571L/
of TS13571L.

Although not many, there are some changes that happened earlier than TS60K, like the split steering column, carbs, starter, etc.

Are there any areas you are particularly interested in?

Piggott's latest book is a MUST, but even better than his photos are Don Elliott's photos of his 1958 TR3A.  He is the original owner, has taken the car apart twice, and knows every nut and bolt on it.  It is ORIGINAL.

I normally wouldn't volunteer someone else, but in Don's case, I know that he won't mind.  His photos are so good that I have framed a couple of them for my library.

If you can find him - he is on ALL the forums, including this one - he will be happy to email you photos that you are particularly interested in.

Good luck!
