Can someone tell me who handled the Autocross event at the 2010 Convention? This is my task at the 2011 Convention in beautiful Breckenridge, Colorado. I have contacted the local SCCA region, but not sure they can/will handle it yet. Our local club doesn't have the expertise in-house to handle it, so we are looking for answers and advice.

Thanks!

You mentioned that you contacted the local SCCA who is not sure if they can handle it. Is that the club that does the Rocky Mountain Solo Series of autocrosses? If not, that club's info can be found at www.rmsolo.org

Yes. That's who I contacted, the regional chairman of Rocky Mtn Solo Series, Randy Hickman. He is new to the post and is checking with his staff to see if they can/will handle it. Some question about the VTR classifications of cars v. that of the SCCA being compatible enough for their timing equipment?

Thanks for the reply!

You should be in contact with the VTR Autocross Adviser.  He is Marty Sukey as listed in the TVT @ trmarty@hotmail.com.  You also should be in contact with Jack McGahey the VTR Events Coordinator.  Jack actually set up and ran the 2010 VTR Autocross on Jekyll Island.  He is listed VTREvents@aol.com.  If all that fails feel free to contact me at Wedgeinfo@aol.com
