I can't seem to locate the source of overwhelming gasoline fumes from my 1975 TR6.  It is worse when the tank is full.  I have replaced the fuel line, tank and filler seal.  Any thoughts?

Maybe check your fuel tank venting to the charcoal canister.  As I recall, you should have a line from the top of the tank ,to a rollover valve/vapor seperator, to the charcoal canister.

I had exactly the same problem on my '73 TR6...an overwhelming odor of raw fuel in the trunk and to a lesser degree, in the cockpit.
After searching for months, I finally found a wet spot on top of the fuel sending unit after driving the car.  The 6 small screws that hold keep the sending unit attached to the fuel tank were leaking a small amount of fuel, but that's all that was needed for the odor.  Just a bit of moisture on top of the sending unit...check yours.
I pulled out the sending unit and coated the gasket with Permatex non-hardening sealent on both sides of the gasket and coated the threads on all six screws.  Took the car out for a test drive and for the first time did NOT have a fuel odor...none.
You will have to pull out the tank about 4 or 5 inches at the top so that you can take the sending unit completely out of the tank to coat the gasket.
