Hi,
This is my first post on the Triumph forum. Thanks for having me. I don't have a sports car right now. In the late 70s, I had an orange MGB. The only trouble I had with it was a leaky transmission. I could tell if the tranny oil level was low when the O/D would drop out. In the mid-80s, I acquired a restored TR3A. Imron paint in VW Spanish Green w/ a matching hard top & white side curtains. It was beautiful and I loved it but, after the MGB, it drove a bit like a tractor. Sold it about a week before I totaled my Volvo in a head-on with a Chevy Caprice. I was sure glad to be in a Volvo & not a Triumph that evening. Since then I've had a '63 Studebaker Avanti & a BMW R100RS. Periodically, the bug bites me & I'm back to fiddling with something old & mechanical.

Well, the bug's bit again. While shopping for one of my toys, I came very close to buying a GT6. The owner changed his mind, not me. Anyway, I'm thinking about finding another GT6. Here's my first, of what I hope will be several GT6 questions: I am 6 feet tall & 200 lbs - will I fit in a GT6? I must've sat in the one I looked at, but I can't remember... A friend of mine had a Spitfire in the 60's and I don't remember having a problem fitting in it, but they do have plenty of headroom.

So, will I fit? If I'm going to have to tilt me head to the side to look out the windscreen I can scratch the GT6 off of my list.

depends on if your wearing a helmet or not.... I'm 6'4 200# 36" inseam and currently building a vintage racer out of a Mk3. With no headliner and wearing a helmet in the stock seat, I don't touch anything. Legs are a different story. The Mk3 is very tolerable but my 2+2 E and my daughters 67 BGT are more comfy in the leg room area.
