1949 Triumph 2000 Roadster

This Roadster is in excellent condition, having been completely restored some years back. It is painted in "Champagne", with a "rust" interior. It is now used only as a parade and picnic car. The car has a large diameter tubular frame and aluminum bodywork, due to post-war shortages of pressed steel products.

It has the Standard Vanguard 2088cc engine (68 HP and 108 pound-feet of torque), and a three speed (three-on-the-tree) transmission. The Roadsters were the last production car in the world with a rumble seat, which is referred to as a "dickey seat" in England.

It is often said that the Roadsters were designed by a committee, and they have been referred to as ugly ducklings. That is why we commissioned a hand crafted swan to serve as our hood ornament. We think our roadster is really beautiful, and we receive many compliments on it.

The car has won best-of-show at the Reno MG Club's show, and also first place in the Nevada Day Parade.
